Gloria Goguen

Artist in the Garden

We are delighted to have Gloria Goguen to perform plein air drawing at the Old Sturbridge Village Herb Garden. Gloria creates botanical works of art with a spiritual connection to nature and light.  Drawn from her own visual study of fields, forests, gardens, and open spaces in varied times and seasons, her compositions evoke memories of familiar lyrical images from nature.   Combining a respect for botanical artists of the past with a personal style. The colored pencil medium allows her to paint with pencils virtually anywhere unencumbered, which makes the natural world her studio.

Check out Gloria Goguen's work on Facebook.
